Description: The first scene is already awazing. It shows Derek Powers alone in the darkness, scared by a voice talking to him from nowhere. This voice is actually D. Shreeve's voice, who's an expert in sound technologies. He's hired by Powers to get rid of Bruce Wayne, who is to oppose to Powers after the latter has decided to destroy Old Gotham in order to build more high-tech buildings ( I'm not sure it's the exact storyline but you get the idea =)) .
A while later, in the Old Gotham area, Bruce visits the good old police station, but a costumed Shriek appears and attempts to kill him by exploding walls and grounds with the power of sound waves he can create with his powerful outfit. Fortunately, Batman comes up and saves Bruce who remains injured.
In the hospital Bruce starts to hear voices within his head. Voices telling him to jump through the window and kill himself. Everyone thinks Wayne has gone crasy. Except Terry who discovers a microchip placed under one of Bruce's bandages. Now it's up to Terry to find Shriek, the one behind all this, and to put his sound-manipulating carreer to an end.

For once this is a highly interesting episode. Because the writers made up for once a really good and creative villain. Shriek is a real bad guy, who has a great knowledge of sounds, and uses it to threaten whoever he wants. He's not here for money or anything (although he's hired to kill),I think he just wants to have fun with his sound toys. He also looks pretty cool, and what he can do with his outfit is very impressive.
The whole stoyryline is well handled: this is another "Powers hires someone to do a dirty thing" story, but it doesn't seem like "deja-vu" to me.
There are some nice references to the past when Bruce walks through Old Gotham, and comes into the central police station.
And the last scene is truly terrific: the sound effects are just mind-boggling. Shriek removes every tiny sound except for Batman's footsteps, which creates a very creepy atmosphere.
Otherwise the animation is very good, especially on Bruce Wayne.
I don't see any real bad point. I was a little disappointed that Blight did not appear at all but hey! he can't star in every BB episode!

A great episode. One of the best BB episodes for sure!
